The Computer Science program is accredited through CIPS and this accreditation does not extend to core courses (CPS and MTH) taken at the Chang School. However, under exceptional circumstances students may be granted permission by the Department of Computer Science to substitute one core day course by its Chang School equivalent.

To request authorization, obtain the form titled Permission for Computer Science students to take CE courses from the Departmental office, fill it out and submit it to the Administrative Assistant, Ms. Lucia Flaim.

Please note that such requests will not be granted retroactively, so the form must be filled out prior to registering for the course. Also, there is no guarantee that this authorization will be granted.
