Object Types

Here are the types available in HL.

Typing

HL is statically typed. Each variable is declared to be of a specific type and this type cannot change. This includes the types of function parameters and the return types of functions.

Type Conversions

The only possible type conversion in HL is from integer to polynomial: Any integer n can be automatically converted into the polynomial n*x^0 when the context requires it, i.e. for addition and subtraction.
